The best
pantry staples
are the ones
you reach for
without thinking.
The bottle that quietly finds its way onto dinner. The jar you take to a friend's place because you already know they'll ask where it came from. That's HOTTIE.
Every drop begins with something worth waiting for. Sometimes it's a quick toastie eaten standing at the kitchen bench after work. Sometimes it's passed around a long table with good bread, another bottle of wine and more people than you planned for. The occasion matters less than the company.
We like food that earns its place. Not because it's too nice to open. Quite the opposite.
Open it often. Put it on everything. Finish it sooner than you meant to.
As the pantry grows, so will the things in it. Some products will return with the seasons. Others won't. They aren't tied together by a single ingredient or process, but by a shared way of thinking. Curious ingredients. Slow ideas. Things we'd happily take to dinner.
The goal has never been to make products people save for a special occasion.
It's to make products they miss when they're gone.
Because the best compliment isn't a full pantry.
It's an empty jar.
Behind HOTTIE
HOTTIE is the home of designer, photographer, amateur gardener and enthusiastic feeder of friends.
Growing ingredients, baking bread, wandering delis, photographing produce and cooking for the people around her have never felt like separate interests. HOTTIE is simply where they've all landed.
The pantry will always be changing. The hope is that, somewhere along the way, a few jars become part of your table too.
